As promised:

This is the living room, seen from the kitchen. A bit like the old one, but with a lot more floor space and a lot less clutter. Catnip mouse included at no additional cost.

It's hard to get a good angle, especially when it's full of half-unpacked boxes, but this is the kitchen. It's got class it doesn't even know what to do with.

This is the patio, seen from my bedroom. I'm on a second floor, so it's a nice place to watch the neighbors walking their dogs, sit and caffeinate in the mornings, and chill with the flora. (Pictured: Japanese Aralia, and some damned vampire sunflower.)

The room I'm taking is actually the smaller of the two, but it's also brighter, and seems a little quieter. It's a 10x10 that connects to a hallway, a bathroom, the patio and a walk-in closet, so you can imagine it doesn't have a whole lot of wall space. I decided that walk-in closet was usable space, so I took the door off it and made it the library - viola; all my crap in a second bedroom.

Ziggy looked upon his new desk, and he saw that it was good.
